The most beautiful beaches in Sardinia near Tenute Costadoria

Just a few minutes from the resort, the clearest sea meets the most authentic nature.

The north-western coast of Sardinia offers some of the island’s most picturesque beaches, surrounded by unspoilt natural scenery. White sand, turquoise sea, dunes, rocks and silence: each beach is different, but all reflect the wild and luminous beauty of Sardinia.

The Costadoria estate extends to La Ciaccia beach, about 700 metres as the crow flies from the resort, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes (about 10) along the paths within the property. It is a quiet and uncrowded beach, marked by very picturesque rocky stretches where the sea sculpts shapes and reflections. The water is an intense emerald colour and the scent of Mediterranean scrub and juniper accompanies the grounds of our estate to the beach, creating a natural continuity between the countryside and the sea. The presence of a parking area and a kiosk bar makes it convenient to enjoy, without detracting from its authentic and wild character.

For a relaxing day at the beach, we also recommend the beaches of Isola Rossa (La Marinedda and Spiaggia Longa), which are easily accessible from Costadoria in about 20-25 minutes by car. These locations are characterised by light-coloured sand, red granite rocks, turquoise sea and seabeds suitable for both swimming and snorkelling. The area is moderately busy, certainly livelier in high season, and offers various services: kiosk bars, restaurants and beach establishments, while still maintaining glimpses of unspoilt nature. They are a good option for those who want a day at the beach in a scenic setting, with all amenities close at hand.

San Pietro a Mare spiaggia

San Pietro Mare

Between sea, river and wind: a beach that changes every day

About a 10-minute drive from the resort (or about 20 minutes if you prefer to walk), you will arrive at San Pietro Mare beach: a long stretch of white sand that separates the sea from the Coghinas river, creating a changing landscape full of life.

San Pietro Mare beach is ideal for those who love surfing and kite surfing: it is very popular with lovers of these sports, who, depending on the weather conditions, enjoy themselves on the sea side or the river side. It is also perfect for those who love walking, water sports or simply losing themselves in the reflections between fresh and salt water. The sunsets here are a wonder to experience barefoot on the sand.

Baia delle Mimose

Dunes, the scent of helichrysum and endless horizons

The beaches of San Pietro Mare, Baia delle Mimose and Badesi are located in continuity, forming a strip of golden sand that stretches from Ciaccia to the granite coasts of Isola Rossa.

Proceeding along the coast, you will come across Baia delle Mimose, a wilder and quieter corner where the Mediterranean scrub meets the dunes. The sea here is calmer, perfect for long, relaxing swims. Walk along sandy paths and through fragrant bushes, breathe in the salty air and lose yourself in the horizon. Ideal for those seeking intimacy and contemplation.

Baia delle Mimose
Spiaggia di Badesi

Spiaggia di Badesi

A stretch of sand that accompanies your breath

Badesi offers kilometres of fine sand bathed by a sea that changes colour every moment. It is a perfect beach for those who love wide, natural spaces, where you can find your own quiet corner even in the summer months. Access points are well distributed and the landscape is always dominated by the silence of the vegetation and the spectacle of the open sky.

Badesi beach stands out for its great accessibility: the road and car park are located adjacent to the beach and there are several kiosks, small restaurants and equipped areas along the coast, making it convenient and accessible at any time of day.
