Vineyards in Sardinia, between the sea and the river

The vine grows between two worlds, producing wines that reflect the territory

At Tenute Costadoria, vines are a constant, subtle yet strong presence.
They stretch neatly along the slopes overlooking the sea, sinking their roots into rich, living soil, caressed by the salty wind and the bright Sardinian sun. The estate’s vineyards are cultivated using natural methods and represent the beating heart of the agricultural landscape, as well as the starting point for a unique wine-making story.

Each vineyard is a tale, each row a story of patience and precision. The vines, selected from native and Mediterranean varieties, are cultivated with artisanal care, without forcing or cutting corners. The result is healthy, concentrated grapes that express the dual soul of this place: the mineral strength of the sea and the deep freshness of the river valley.

A natural balance reflected in the glass

The distinctive feature of the Costadoria vineyards lies in their unique location: some overlook the sea, suspended between sky and salt; others follow the curves of the Coghinas river, where humidity and alluvial soil give them a different expressiveness. This dual context generates an aromatic and structural biodiversity that translates into clean, recognisable, authentic wines.

Cultivating vines in this natural balance also means knowing how to listen.
The work in the vineyards is daily and manual: the plants are observed, the lunar cycles are respected, pruning is done carefully, and harvesting takes place only when the grapes are truly ready.
At Costadoria, viticulture is both an agricultural and a poetic act.

From the earth to the glass

Ethical, artisanal, respectful viticulture

The estate’s vineyards are not exploited, but accompanied in their evolution. Cultivation practices exclude pesticides and chemical weed killers, focusing on green manure, light soil tillage and natural defences. The goal is not quantity, but quality, identity and authenticity of the wine.

Harvesting is strictly manual and takes place in perforated crates to preserve the integrity of the bunches. The grapes are then taken to the cellar where vinification begins in a manner consistent with their origin: spontaneous fermentation, skilful use of wood, respect for time. Each bottle is the product of a specific vineyard, light, wind and vintage.

A vineyard to visit, experience and taste

Experiences among the vines, to truly understand wine

Strolling through the vineyards of Tenute Costadoria means getting in touch with the essence of the estate. Visitors can walk along the paths between the rows of vines, stop to observe the plants, and listen to the stories of those who care for them every day.

And then taste: in the cellar, at the restaurant, or during wine tours and guided wine experiences. Every sip, every aroma, every nuance tells the story of the strength of a place and the delicacy of those who care for it.
