At Tenute Costadoria, nature is a teacher of life and a daily source of inspiration
Tenute Costadoria is not just a resort surrounded by greenery: it is a living landscape, an ecosystem made up of hard work, respect and harmony, a place where humans do not dominate nature but listen to it. Across more than 50 hectares of rolling hills overlooking the Gulf of Asinara, an integrated organic farming project has taken shape, giving meaning and authenticity to every experience on the estate.
Walking among the rows of vines, watching the bees at work among the flowers, picking a tomato from the garden and tasting it a few minutes later: here, nature is part of everyday life, not an accessory luxury. Every gesture, every choice, is oriented towards sustainability, dialogue with the environment and the enhancement of what is true.
Nature is also flavour: cultivated in the fields, transformed into dishes, recounted in wines, experienced in silence along the paths through the Mediterranean scrub. Every corner of Costadoria exhales genuine beauty, made up of biodiversity and attention to detail.
Vegetable gardens and plantations
A land that nourishes, with respect and gratitude
The Costadoria vegetable gardens are the productive and symbolic heart of the estate. Tended daily using natural methods, they grow vegetables, legumes, aromatic herbs and fruits that change with the seasons.
Nothing is left to chance: each crop follows the rhythms of the sun, wind and water, without forcing. The harvested produce goes directly to the kitchen, but also into the baskets of the cooking classes and into jars of artisanal preserves.
Vineyards between the sea and the river
Where grapes tell the story of the land, sip by sip
The vineyards of Tenute Costadoria stretch between two opposing yet complementary forces: the salty sea breeze and the fertile freshness of the Coghinas river.
This dual exposure generates an expressive richness that is reflected in the winery’s wines, divided into two souls: the elegant and mineral Vini di Mare (Sea Wines) and the intense and structured Vini di Fiume (River Wines). Each row is cultivated with attention to the soil and native varieties. Here, the vineyard is much more than a field: it is the narrative foundation of the landscape.
We protect the bees
A gesture of love towards biodiversity
Bees are invisible guardians of fertility, and at Costadoria they find refuge in an ideal habitat. The beehives scattered among the trees and vegetable gardens are not only a source of honey, but also a concrete sign of agriculture that respects the natural balance.
Protecting bees means protecting the future, fostering pollination and preserving the landscape. Children observe them with wonder, adults understand their value. At Costadoria, we learn, day after day, that every living being is part of a whole.
Valley of Coghinas
A changing landscape, a timeless beauty
The Valley of Coghinas is the slow breath of the estate: an area of great natural charm, where water, earth and sky interact in perfect balance. Amongst reeds, Mediterranean scrub, wetlands and sand dunes, there are paths ideal for trekking, cycling or simply stopping and observing.
It is here that the river meets the sea, that plant life becomes abundant and that the light changes every hour. A landscape that nourishes the gaze and invites a deeper form of presence.
